1) To Send Digital Photographs to The Advertiser
a. file format in (filename.jpg or filename.tif )
b. if scanning with your own scanner:
1. the resolution of your image after scanning must be at least 200 dpi
c. If using digital camera
1. Use the highest resolution possible from the camera
d. leave color format as RGB (color photo) or grayscale
e. Try not to adjust for color, size, resolution or scratches as we can "touch up" the photographs as needed for commercial printing.
The best possible way is to send the original untouched file from the camera.
2) To Send Ads Electronically to The Advertiser
a. For a complete ad (photos and type in one file)
1.filename.pdf (Portable Document Format) with embedded fonts
2. .jpg or .tif as a completed ad at 200 dpi resolution
b. The Advertiser cannot accept the following documents:
1. Microsoft Works
2. Microsoft Power Point
3. Microsoft Excel
4. Access
5. Microsoft Publisher
6. Ad Creator / Creator 2If you use one of the above programs, you must send it as an attachment as a .txt file or paste into the message area an email. A fax copy of the sent ad will help us recreate your ad as desired.
c. The Advertiser can accept the following MACINTOSH PROGRAMMING:
1. INDESIGN*
2. PHOTOSHOP
3. ILLUSTRATOR*
4. ADOBE ACROBAT*Must include all clip art, logos, fonts, photographs, etc. associated with the construction of the ad.
3) E-mail us an ad request.
Give us your Name (or company name) what size you would like, when you want to run, and what colors you would like. Make sure to give us all of the information you would like in your ad.
